Date: 13th November
Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Venue: Southfields Academy
The London Leadership Strategy is hosting a free morning workshop session for London Schools Excellence Fund (LSEF) recipients to delve deeper into how social media, web and technology techniques can benefit their projects.
Taking place at Southfields Academy in South West London, attendees will explore:
- Top tips and strategies for using Twitter and Facebook successfully, including use of hash tags and targeting influencers online.
- Ways to develop your presence online, including using blogging, video, presentation sharing sites and infographics.
- Keeping ahead of the trends affecting education including online lesson sharing, virtual reality classrooms and collaborative document creation.
- Ways to utilise the LondonEd community website to help you spread the word http://londoned.org.uk/
The London Leadership Strategy, a not-for-profit organisation born of London Challenge and led by serving Headteachers, is supporting LSEF projects to communicate with each other and mobilise knowledge with the 800 schools in London that are involved in the project and the wider teaching community.
You will hear from expert speakers and importantly, from each other. These workshops are being co-produced with you to explore what works, what doesn’t and areas of development.
Places are being offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
