Exploring primary science at Holy Family Catholic School

By Tuesday, March 24, 2015 No tags Permalink

Holy Family Catholic School is based in Waltham Forest, working with four local primary schools. At this school, London Schools Excellence Fund (LSEF) project is enabling pupils and teachers in our primary school to make use of science labs and science equipment in our secondary partner schools.

This work is giving more primary pupils more opportunities to carry out exciting science experiments and is fuelling their enthusiasm for the subject.

In addition, primary teachers are working collaboratively with secondary colleagues, benefitting pupils as they join Year 7 with improved skills and knowledge.

To find out more information about the project, download the powerpoint here.

In addition, you can also download information on how to write up a science investigation for primary school teachers.

On the 7th and 8th of April we are running two days of science fun for five primary schools on the 7th and 8th of April 2015. Find out more here.
